The compound department is critically important for FCE Gomma Srl as it allows the company to experiment and produce mixtures, based on own formula, thus to free itself from the minimum lots of external suppliers. In this context, FCE Gomma Srl manages to be competitive even for small to medium quantities.

 

 

FCE Gomma Srl develops internally the mold design and identifies the most appropriate technological cycle. The company has many years of experience in systems of compression molding, injection molding, transfer and thermo-regulated systems.
Equipment is created by external suppliers by means of specialized companies with which FCE Gomma Srl is in touch for over twenty years.

 

The machine park of the company is constantly expanding and now has 37 presses,of which 27 for injection and 10 for compression; the characteristics of individual machines allow us to meet the production and customer needs: presses with injection capacity from 80cc up to 4500cc allow FCE Gomma Srl to print either items with weight fractions of a gram or items with a weight exceeding 15 kg; presses with surface dimensions up to 1100 mm and a clamping force of 500 tons allow to print high and bulky items or items with metal and articulated inserts.

Despite constant monitoring through controls during the whole process, the production after the deburring and, if required, after post-curing treatment is subjected to a 100% visual inspection by means of lens.

 

 

 

The machine park is completed by an extrusion line dedicated to the silicone and two extrusion lines for organic materials such as EPDM, NBR and CR One of these last two lines is equipped with a double extruder for profiles with combinations of different colors, different hardness or solid rubber and sponge rubber.

Profiles can be supplied in sections and with inkjet marking.
